My name is Liz Jeffries and I am the psychotherapist-owner and sole practitioner of the service. I am trained and experienced in the practice of transactional analysis psychotherapy - a form of therapy that helps with gaining insight into how we become who we are, as well as helping with growth and change.
My approach includes a relational depth theory which can be useful when deep emotional change is needed, as well as helping with relief from symptoms such as anxiety and depression, helping resolve relationship or work problems and exploring a sense of repeating patterns in life or feeling 'just not right'.

Traditional therapy held at my therapy rooms in Chorlton, South Manchester
I reserve 3 sessions each week for individuals who are unable to afford my full fee. This is for people who are not working, whose income is less than £15k per annum, or are in receipt of state benefits. Please request a concessionary rate session if you feel you are eligible. I currently have a waiting list for these sessions and the waiting period is generally 4-6 weeks.
Therapy for all types of couple - life partners (same sex couples or male-female couples) and may also be for different kinds of couples - for example two family members (Adults only), or two friends who want to work through issues in their relationship.
A range of services offered remotely, suited to therapeutic need and personal life circumstances
If you feel more comfortable writing about your difficulties, with time to process your thoughts and feelings, need someone to receive aknowledge and respond to your difficulties, and like time to reflect on any responses from your therapist then this may be a good choice for you.
Online Chat Therapy may be suitable for you if you prefer a “real-time” conversation. You may be familiar with Chat from Facebook or Skype. In this form of therapy, you have the advantage of being able to receive instant responses from me. This might be more comforting for you than email therapy if you enjoy instant interaction rather than a reflective space.
